Ideal for groups, the Bunkhouse can sleep up to 26 people. There are 6 rooms, 5 with 4 beds and one with 6 beds. 4 of the rooms have en-suite shower/toilet and hand basins. The other 2 rooms have a hand basin and a bathroom on the same floor. There is large well equipped kitchen, and a drying room. It may be possible to put a few trail bikes in the secure bike shed. The bar is open to the public on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights with live music on a regular basis. It can be opened for residents during the week by prior arrangement. The area is rural. There is ample parking for cars and vans, with no history of any vehicles ever being tampered with. |

Many trail riders stay here, as a good circular route can be planned. The house was built in the mid 1700's and was once the home of the Marchioness of Londonderry. There are 12 spacious letting rooms with high ceilings a feature of the period and 2 ensuite rooms. Guests are welcome to use the large T V / reading lounge, and a full continental breakfast is served in the breakfast room. There is a shed for secure storage of bikes and trailers. Plas Llwyngwern is a non-smoking establishment. |
